Enespro Arc Flash Kits - Electrical PPE Reinvented

Enespro set out to change electrical PPE by listening to the safety professionals and electrical workers first. They turned what they learned into an all-new line of American-made arc flash protective gear designed to increase compliance and help keep electrical workers safe. Their electrical PPE products are lighter, more comfortable and less cumbersome, and easier to put on/take off and stow than any other choice in the marketplace.

Enespro's Mission: To make electrical workers safer and improve the PPE user experience through industry collaboration and continuous innovation.

Watch "We Hear You" to discover why Enespro reinvented electrical PPE:

Enespro Arc Flash Kits - PPE for Electricians

When a worker dons an arc flash suit, he or she is essentially putting on a necessary piece of clothing, often weighing more than a winter coat, while completing a task knowing that a wrong move could result in an arc flash. Even the most experienced electrical workers are at risk, and anytime a worker has to work hot, stress levels are elevated. If that’s not stressful enough, consider that the worker will also be donning a heavy suit that’s often uncomfortable, restrictive, and very, very hot inside.

Introducing an all-new line of American-made arc flash protective gear designed to increase compliance and help keep electrical workers safe. Electrical PPE products that are lighter, more comfortable and less cumbersome, and easier to put on/take off and stow than any other choice in the marketplace.

OptiShield™ Arc Flash Hoods & Helmets

Enespro OptiShield grey nanoparticle shields have improved visibility and color versus legacy green tinted shields. They also include an abrasion resistant coating on the front surface and a permanent anti-fog coating on the interior. Paired with lightweight, breathable materials in the 40 CAL AirLite™ hoods, 12 and 20 CAL UltraSoft™ Balaclavas, 20 and 25 CAL Shrouds, and 55 and 65 CAL hoods and suits, Enespro provides the comfort, breathability, and visibility electricians need to perform their work safely.

A balaclava or shroud is required to be worn with a hard hat & face shield for NFPA 70E CAT 2 tasks. However, many workers avoid wearing balaclavas because they’re so uncomfortable and they often carry a foul odor from previous uses. That is why the Enespro OptiShield™ Vented Lift-Front Shroud eliminates the need for a balaclava (aka “sock hood”). It’s also lined with FR 2.0 antimicrobial fabric that kills germs and controls odor making it a much more hygienic option compared to balaclavas. These shroud options will help safety professionals solve this problem and encourage safety compliance because it’s a much more comfortable and hygienic solution. It’s also attached the hard hat & face shield allowing it to stay together as one unit.

“The grey shield vs traditional green tint made it a lot nicer for the guys. They have to tell the difference between the wire colors. To be safe, they need to see that.”

—Ray Sanchez, Corporate Safety at Allison-Smith
