RPB Nova 3 Inner, Outer, and Disposable Tear-Off Lens Systems

Protect the main lens of RPB® Nova 3 Abrasive Blasting helmet visor from chemical splash, spray drift, or dust and ensure the operator has fast access to clear vision without waste.

Features

  2. Reduces Waste - Each lens has a pre-folded tab that guarantees only one lens is removed at a time - even with heavy gloves on.
  3. Enhances Productivity - Up to 6 lenses can be inserted into the helmet at one time for a full shift of uninterrupted blasting.

Cassette Lens vs. Tear-Off Lens

Cassette Lens System 

RPB Safety's unique cassette tear-off lens system designed for the Nova 3 features one outer lens fused with five tear off lenses, preventing dust from getting in between the lenses. The one piece design of each cassette makes it significantly faster to set up than the individual tear-off or Fit & Save lenses.

Available in a pack of 20 cassettes and each cassette includes 1 outer lens and 5 tear-off lenses.

 

Tear-Off Lenses 

Up to 6 of RPB Safety's Tear-Off Lenses can be inserted into the helmet at one time and requires the use of an Outer Lens.

Both the Tear-Off and Outer Lenses are available in packs of 50 lenses.

Cassette style tear off lenses

While they definitely have their place I found that with 5 lenses together it impedes my vision until I got a few torn off, also there seems to be a little residual tackiness when you tear a lens which creates another vision problem with the dust. That being said if I was blasting in a confined space then rather than crawling out to change lenses I can see this system saving some effort there.
